Retired Married
After graduating from W&L I went to Univ of South Florida in Tampa and graduated in 1974 with a BA in psychology.  While at the university, I was introduced to skydiving.  For the next 35-36  years, I did little else in my spare time, I was truly addicted to the sport.  In 1976, I returned to the northern Va area and attendeed Computer Learning Center which led to my career (IT) until retirement in 2012.  Along the way, I met my wife on a ski trip.  We've been married for 27 years.  No kids ( we got married at age 40 and figured we had missed that window).  We bought a house in Falls Church which we still live in.  I quit jumping about 10 years ago after about 2,100 jumps. Now, I'm playing guitar and doing a self-study in nuclear and Quantum physics to keep my brain functional.  My wife spent many years in the Foreign Service, then switched to Civil Service w/State Dept.  She retired 6 months after I did. Int'l Financial Development Married 1
I  graduated from Penn/Wharton in 1973, and moved back to Washington, where I have been living ever since. I was a commercial banker for about 20 years in Washington, and in the early 1990s switched to international development, supporting banks and microfinance institutions in emerging market countries. My work has taken me to central and eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, the Middle East, and southeast Asia, all on short term stints, but now I am living in and heading up the banking and insurance work for a USAID economic development project for USAID in Myanmar/Burma. I'm pleased to say that my husband, Dennis Farley, took off a year from beng an economics professor to join me here. Send Mary a MessageSend Mary a Message

Clinical social worker Married 2
I'm semi-retired from working in a solo practice in clinical social work for over 30 years. Thanks to my life partner, I've been able to work part-time a lot while raising my two wonderful sons and now spend my spare time doing social justice and advocacy work with the UU Church and the League of Women Voters in Massachusetts. I also have time for singing again and can still putter around my garden. I am really enjoying this stage of life! Send Patty a MessageSend Patty a Message

Retired Deputy Sheriff Married 2
After leaving Arlington in 1969 to attend college in Arkansas I never returned.  My degree is from Ouachita University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas in Business Admin.  I got married to my current and only wife in 1973, moved to Lexington, Virginia and went to work.  I worked briefly in textiles, then, in 1976 I went to work for a food distributor eventually leaving there as VP/GM.  It was a job I hated, but it paid the bills well.  In 1991 I went to work for the Rockbirdge Sheriff's Office and had the best time of my life.  I retired from there in 2016 as an investigator.  I loved the place, the guys there and the work for the most part.  I have two beautiful daughters who have wonderful husbands. I also have three grandsons.  All of us live in close proximity so I have been blessed by being able to see them all regualry.  I enjoy day trips on the Appalachian Trial, shooting, daily workouts and taking care of my country property.  Life is good!
