Retired Married 2
After graduation from William & Mary in 1973, I married Larry Smith and we moved to Harrisonburg, VA. My first career was in education followed by telecommunications (Verizon) in the DC area after we relocated there in 1979. We have a 30 year old daughter and a 26 year old son who both live in Falls Church.  Our son and now daughter-in-law were married last summer on our 45th anniversary! Working on the reunion committee has been a great chance to reconnect with classmates and remember some good times - so long ago! Send Marilyn a MessageSend Marilyn a Message

Attorney LKGlobal.com Married 2
Upon graduation from Washington-Lee High School, I went on to study engineering at Vanderbilt University, graduating in 1973 with a B.E.  Commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army Corps of Engineers, I began a 20 year career.  I qualified as a paratrooper and a Ranger.  After two years, was sent to George Washington University Law School.  As an army lawyer, I specialized in government contracting and intellectual property law.  In 1993 I retired and began a civilian career, as an attorney in private practice with Bryan Cave, making partner in 1996.  In 2000, I joined Motorola as an in-house counsel for a business that was acquired by General Dynamics the following year.  I retired the second time in 2015, and now practice very part-time with LKGlobal LLP.  Summers are spend in Oregon, and winters in Arizona.  During my working career, I traveled widely and lived in Colorado, Virginia, Alabama, Missouri, Arizona, Germany, and Spain.  Due to a conflict, I could not attend this reunion. Retired Deputy Sheriff Married 2
After leaving Arlington in 1969 to attend college in Arkansas I never returned.  My degree is from Ouachita University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas in Business Admin.  I got married to my current and only wife in 1973, moved to Lexington, Virginia and went to work.  I worked briefly in textiles, then, in 1976 I went to work for a food distributor eventually leaving there as VP/GM.  It was a job I hated, but it paid the bills well.  In 1991 I went to work for the Rockbirdge Sheriff's Office and had the best time of my life.  I retired from there in 2016 as an investigator.  I loved the place, the guys there and the work for the most part.  I have two beautiful daughters who have wonderful husbands. I also have three grandsons.  All of us live in close proximity so I have been blessed by being able to see them all regualry.  I enjoy day trips on the Appalachian Trial, shooting, daily workouts and taking care of my country property.  Life is good! Int'l Financial Development Married 1
I  graduated from Penn/Wharton in 1973, and moved back to Washington, where I have been living ever since. I was a commercial banker for about 20 years in Washington, and in the early 1990s switched to international development, supporting banks and microfinance institutions in emerging market countries. My work has taken me to central and eastern Europe, the former Soviet Union, Africa, the Middle East, and southeast Asia, all on short term stints, but now I am living in and heading up the banking and insurance work for a USAID economic development project for USAID in Myanmar/Burma. I'm pleased to say that my husband, Dennis Farley, took off a year from beng an economics professor to join me here. Send Mary a MessageSend Mary a Message
