Retired Married
After college (Princeton) and law school (UVA) I moved to Philadelphia and spent my entire career there practicing corporate law both in law firms and in-house. My first marriage, to classmate Mary Hicks, ended in divorce. I met my wife Carolyn on a blind date in 1987 and we married in 1988, having acquired two dogs and an old sailboat in the process. Our mutual love of sailing brought us to the Chesapeake Bay and to the Eastern Shore of Maryland. After 30 years of sailing the Bay, and 20 years of a vacation home, we retired to 10 peaceful acres outside St. Michaels MD in 2015.  Send Larry a MessageSend Larry a Message

Professor of Accounting Widowed 1
After leaving W-L, I attended American University for a year.  I then married an Air Force officer and was able to see a bit of the world.  After our divorce, I returned to Arlington and went to George Mason to earn a BS in Accounting and later an MBA.  I worked in many accounting fields but the most rewarding was where I ended my working career as a Professor at Northern Virgina Community College.
I got remarried to a Patent Attorney who came to the area when he was at GW law school.  We had one son who is also in education.  We were together for 35 years.   I just retired at the beginning of September but I have been told by a friend that I may "fail" retirement since I always like to keep busy and may not allow myself enough down time.

Happily Retired Married
After high school in 1968, it was a turbulent time in this country.  The civil rights movement was picking up steam and the Vietnam War protests were escalating.  I was employed at the Navy Annex at the time and left in 1972. I worked for the federal government in the administrative field for 30 years and another 20 years in the private sector, I retired in 2015 from the Washington Airports Authority.

In that same year, I moved to Saint Louis, MO (my husband's home).  We have two daughters and three grandchildren.  I love traveling and writing poetry and plan to publish a book of poems in 2020. I also hope to one day move back to the DC area.

Project Manager Married 1
Frankly, high school wasn't really fun for me. Being a social "tweener" I had friends in several groups but didn't get to hang out with any of them. Don't worry,  there were a number of great moments, like me and Rob Shultz passing notes in class written in Latin, or geometry class with Mr. O'Shaugnessy. It being a 1st period class we would bet on whether or not he'd make it in on time. Remember, he drove a beat-up VW Beetle from Upperville.
There are a lot of "I wish I hads" like sticking with football, soccer and crew, being more "out there" socially and so on.
I'm really happy that really nice friendships have developed over the years since and hope to stay in touch with you all.
See you in 2024?

Retired Teacher Special Ed, K and 1st Married 2
Better late then never!  Had a blast at the reunion last night!   So, what have I been doing?   After college I worked, for doctors, lawyers, dentist, real estate,  etc. and decided that if you were going to act like a 5 year old you better be one!  No offense to any of my friends who are in those professions!  So I got my foot in the door to teaching as a substitute and was hired as a Special Ed Para  for Kindergarten and First Grade at a K-1 only school.  I fell in love with teaching and my small charges more than I ever thought I would.  I retired after 20 years  2 years ago, but still sub when I want. The best of both worlds !  Married my wonderful husband Mark in 1993 and raised two kids. Sean is a professional saxophonist and Lindsay is a mother of two awesome grandchildren Ellie 5 and Henry 2. The Grandparent Club is the best club ever!  I still sing, am into  painting, art of all kinds, photography, currently working on what  I call “Layered Photography.  I love to cook, especially, Chinese and Cajun,  but don’t ask me to bake unless I have my 5 year old Souschef  by my side!  We love going to the OBX, the ocean is my happy place.   We have started doing more traveling and are looking forward to doing more once Mark retires.  I’m on Facebook, and Instagram. I would love to keep in touch!  If you are interested in following my Art adventures  you can follow me,  at art_gumbo on Instagram.

retired (mostly) Married 1
After graduating from W-L I attended Hiram College and the University of Virginia.  During the seventies there were a number of interesting jobs, with bartender leading the list.  Ultimately I spent 35 years at the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) managing cooperative programs with USDA designed to help U.S. companies export food products. Aside from meeting a lot of interesting people, I most  enjoyed the international promotion aspect which included travel to South America, Mexico, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia (including more than 20 trips to China visiting more than 25 of the biggest cities). I’m recently retired but doing some consulting.  My wife, Maiko and I have been married almost 21 years, and recently dropped our daughter Claire off at Emerson College in Boston where she will study theater arts. Out immediate future includes a new dog to fill in the void as it’s a little quiet without the constant music, singing and teenage friend visits! Send DeWitt a MessageSend DeWitt a Message

HR Mgr/Babysitter Married 4
After  graduation I continued working for the government at the same job I had held during my senior year.  In 1972 I married, and a year later we moved to Chicago so that he could attend school.  In 1974 we moved to his hometown in WV, and I had our first child there, a son.  We lived there until 1979 when we moved back to VA.  In 1980 we had another son, and I went back to working for the government.  We divorced in 1982.  In 1983 I met my current husband while camping with my brother in front of RFK Stadium for Redskin playoff tickets!  We married in 1984.  He adopted my two boys, and we had two girls of our own.  We both work for our second oldest who has his own business.  I do payroll and HR for the business, but my best job is watching our 4 year old grandson everyday.   Send Terry a MessageSend Terry a Message

Retired Married
I graduated from Va Tech in 1972 in History and English and received my Masters from George Mason.   I began my teaching career in 1973.  I married my husband Joe in 1974 and we remained in the Northern Va area for several years.  In '76 we returned to Blacksburg for Joe to  pursue another degree.  After he received his Landscape Architecture degree we moved to Atlanta where we lived for 15 years. While in Atlanta I taught at the community college level and pursued a degree in photography. Unlike most people who can't wait to leave the No. Va. area, we actually missed it and returned to the area in 1993.  Most of my career was teaching at the high school level which I truly loved.  I retired in 2008, but got a bit bored and worked part time for a government contractor doing intelligence training. I fully retired in 2016.

Life has been good.  We are both huge sports fans although it is often difficult sticking with the 'Skins. We enjoy hiking, biking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.  I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.  It just seems impossible that is has been 50 years.

After graduation entered the Naval Academy with John Midget and Bob Gordon. Graduated four years later and pursued a career in submarines, commanding submarines on the east and  west coast before retiring from the Navy in 1995 where we deactivated Submarine Squadron Four in Charleston SC.
My wife Mary and I moved our 3 children to Knoxville TN, having parlayed my Rickover training into managing the resumption of nuclear operations at Y-12 National Security Complex after a self inposed shutdown. We have remained in the Knoxville area since 95, but true to Navy life moved twice, settling on the Emory River. Our sons and their wives have provided us with 4 special grandsons that live in Northern California and Texas.-awfully long commute Our daughter will be tieing the knot at Thanksgiving and we are excited about our growing family. I left Y-12 in 2001 and have supported the DOE in various postions and roles at Paducah KY, Portsmouth OH, Carlsbad NM, Amarillo TX, and Oak Ridge TN since then recently returning to Y-12.
Mary reentered the work force when we settled in TN and recently retired from education and administering TN wellness requirements for the Lenoir City school system. She is currently a part-time employee, training her relief.
We recently purchased a RV and have taken a few trips and are anxious to hit every National Park.
